NuWave Oven Elite: front view
Note 1: The Elite model is a step up from the other, standard NuWave models. The main differences are:
- Elite addresses fragile lid issue by shipping with heavy-duty lid that otherwise must be ordered separately;
- Elite allows far greater control of temperature and lets actual temperature be seen;
Note 2: NuWave advises that parts from the NuWave standard Oven Pro and NuWave Elite are not interchangeable (though the same model of “Power Dome” appears to be used on both.) The reason is that the maximum cooking temperature on the Elite of 420 F is far higher than that on the standard Pro model of 375 F. For this reason as well, too, possibly, the extender rings have been made in metal for the Elite, rather than the plastic used for the rings on more standard NuWave models.
