Use & Care

use-and-care-of-hot-air-fryers

We all love our hot air fryers, whatever make they are.

They’re our babies; pricey little devils to be sure when we were first deciding whether to bring them home from the store or not – but they’ve transformed our lives, allowing us to eat chips / French fries more than we ever did before in our lives, and we wouldn’t be without them.

And in many ways, they can be like an extra pair of helping hands in the kitchen.

In each “model type” area, we’ve assembled some usage pointers, care tips and some answers to some frequently asked questions.

Let us know if there’s something you’d like us to research: we can’t always promise an instant answer, but we will put it on the todo list for the future to keep us busy!

We already have a dedicated Actifry Use and Care section.

There’s extensive sections on Cleaning and Product Longevity on the Countertop Convection Ovens page.

p.s. For all models, I would recommend getting rubber tipped tongs so that you don’t scratch the pans or grilling trays.

Hi, I love my air fryer, but I would like to line the bottom of the bucket with either baking paper or tin foil for easier cleaning.

Has anyone tried this? Would it hurt the material in the bucket? I’m afraid to try it. I would be very gratefull for the answer.
