Usage Notes

  • Air fries, bakes, broils, grills, roasts, steams, and thaws frozen food, according to manufacturer
  • Unit auto shuts off when you lift the lid handle;
  • Lettering can wear off the dials quite quickly. Some people advise putting clear tape over the lettering to protect it;
  • Some users say it does a great job of reheating food quickly — wrap the food in tin foil, and run the oven at 120 C (250 F ). Be careful not to overheat, as it does re-heat food faster than a regular oven;
  • Has a very strong fan, can blow the surface of open liquids around quite a bit;
  • Many users who previously had halogen say that the heating coil is far longer-lasting than a halogen bulb;
  • Should an accident ever happen to the bowl, replacement bowls can be ordered directly from the maker, Aroma;
  • The user manual suggests that frozen fries take 10 to 12 minutes at 200 C (400 F).
