The Savoureux convection oven fan seems to have failed.

Where can one order a replacement fan motor?

    Thanks!

We don’t know if you can, and we wouldn’t be optimistic with these kinds of convection ovens, they seem to be made with a limited life span. But we’ve listed above the product web page, and an email address apparently for the maker. We wrote to him once on behalf of someone actually, and never heard back, sadly. Maybe you’ll have better luck. Is it past the date you can just return it?

Late to the party, but for future visitors, the manual for WK-2206 says: “The temperature for cooking uncovered dishes is usually 40 degrees to 50 degrees lower in the Convection Oven. No preheating is necessary when using the Convection Oven.” This is on the page for Tips and is followed by a Baking Times and Temperature Chart so it may just refer to baking.

I found a site: http://www.convection-calculator.com (I am not affiliated with it, nor is this website AFAIK) which repeats the 40-50 degrees lower for baked goods (but same length of time), and generally indicates 20 degrees lower, 15-27 minutes less cooking time for meats and “Other.” hth.

I just got mine, and saw in the manual this: “6. When the grease filter becomes too greasy, remove by turning the screws and lifting the filter out. Wash it thoroughly in hot soapy water, rinse well and dry thoroughly before returning it to the Convection Oven.” The grease filter is NOT labeled in the Unit Description diagram, however.

I looked it over carefully, looking for the screws–I think the filter is the piece on the bottom of the dome that faces down into the oven when you put the lid on–really the only place I found screws you could reasonably be expected to unscrew.

Does this product contain lead? I noticed Heartland America sells it and has that info. for California residents who purchase it from them. If so, this product should be discontinued for sure!

I bought one from heartland catalogue sales. When it came in noticed the
Switch had to be activated several time b4 it would actually begin its process. I only have used it four to five times and it was quite amazing . I think the Manual may cause a bit of over cooking. I have had the unit about three months, and now I can not get it to start cooking, the switch
Will not activate the unit. I tried calling heartland and they blew me off. I am on this site trying to locate savoureux customer service. Well, I guess
I am stuck, ashame it will cost heartland and savoureux much more than
The 50.00 plus I paid for the thing !

Tom, we’ve added a note to the page that customer service is difficult to find. We see the people that actually make it have removed the web page for it. We’re shocked that Heartland won’t take it back after only 3 months. It would seem “Heartland” doesn’t have a heart, after all.

My convection WK-2206 stopped working completely just shortly after I bought it. Took the liberty of tearing into it found a solder in blown fuse. Ordered a new fuse from Amazon replaced it and have not had any more trouble out of my oven. Very very pleased with it .

Just pulled it out of the box, wiped it down and set everything up as directed, plugged it in and neither the red or green lights turned on. We made sure the handle was down, turned the tempeture dial and the timer. We waited five minutes before checking on it and it wasn’t even producing heat. The fan wasn’t running either. Very disapointed in the product.

I also bought one from Heartland. It worked really well for a short time and I liked the results. However mine also now refuses to start/work/turn on. I was hoping for more encouraging information. Sigh.

After I unpacked this I read that the external cord may contain lead so I kept washing my hands during my first try. However, after baking some chicken, only once, I noticed that the inside of the upside down dome lid already has problems. The screws were not stainless steeled and started to rust, also the white paint loop became faded to show gray so it has already been oxidized. I also bought it from Heartland. It maybe cheaper than retail price but it is not cheap if I can only use it once. I will not use it again. I will definitely complain to Heartland asap.

It worked ONCE. I made faux KFC with coconut flour (not even close). But I went to reheat the next day and NOTHING. I’ve got a huge glass mixing bowl with stand now. I’ll see if the lid has anything to offer, after removing the heating unit. Otherwise, I’ll see if Walmart has a glass pan lid that fits.

Reset the breaker in the kitchen. Not sure if it’s a cheap appliance or just my cheap Lennar house.

The upper and lower wire racks were not chromed very well. I have gotten many uses from this convection oven and all the cleanings has worn off the chrome coating from the wire racks. I am looking for replacement racks but I think I am out of luck after reading all the comments above. Is there a place I can get replacement racks?

Love my oven, but I need to replace the upper and lower grill plates. The tines have broken, leaving me with gaps. How do I get replacements?

I have been using my oven, have had no problem keeping it clean, and love everything I cook in it. From frozen to perfection in half the normal cooking time. What can be better?

I bought this from Heartland and have used it 3 or 4 times with good results. I bought it as a back-up for a used Perfection-Aire convection oven I bought about 5 years ago for five dollars at a garage sale. After reading the reviews here, I will continue to use the Perfection-Aire until it fails and only then will I resume use of the Proline.

The label on the Perfection-Aire model bears the name “Galloping Gourmet,” which was the name of a television program that aired back in the Later Bronze Age, featuring the very personable chef, Graham Kerr. The program is no more, at least not on the 180+ channels I get from Dish Network. This product is still available, however, on Amazon and elsewhere.

The manual for the Perfection-Aire can be downloaded from the link below. The numerous recipes described there will work just as well with the Savoureax Pro Line. The Perfection-Aire manual is far superior to the skimpy little so-called “manual” that comes with the Proline.

I have a Savoureux Pro Line Convection Oven I have never used. I ordered it from Heartland America. It came with no instruction manual or recipes. I have had for a few years and the degrees and times have come off. So it is useless to me. Is there any way I can get instructions, recipes, and most importantly a photo where I can see the numbers (degrees and times) so I can use it. Thanks

Probably nowhere, sadly. Any sites purporting to offer one for download all seem to be traps that want to infect your computer with malware (and they don’t actually have it anyway.) Those who do have the 6 page manual in print say it is the next best thing to useless, anyway.

I have the Savoreaux Convection oven since 2009 and until now no problems. I use it weekly to fry chicken, wings, fish, potato chips. No complaints.
