In my experience so far, Actifry™ pans (aka bowls) will long outlast their initial plastic handles.
After heavy use, the Actifry handle’s flap part seems to break.
But fear not, and don’t order a whole new pan! You can just order a handle, which is far cheaper, and press your tried and true pan back into service.
First, note that Actifry handles don’t seem to be interchangeable, so you need to order the right one. For instance, the bowl for the Family Sized model has two holes in it for the handle, and its handle has two matching screws, while the 2 in 1 model has 3 screws and screw holes in different formation – so putting a 2 in 1 handle on a Family Sized bowl, or vice versa, won’t work.
But that’s the only complication, it’s otherwise dead easy to put on once the correct replacement has crossed your doorstep (T-Fal Canada delivers it to your door within 3 to 4 days of your having placed the order; other countries may vary.)
Here’s a replacement handle going back onto a Family Size pan. Pictured above is the handle, the two holes that it will attach through, and the two screws that come with the handle.
Above is a close-up of the screw types….
And this shot, above, will I hope help you to figure out exactly what screwdriver head you are going to need.
In closing, here’s a shot of the replacement handle happily attached. You’ll see that the two screw heads go on the outside of the pan, and you just screw them in from there. Inside the pan, the two flat ends of the screws end up automatically getting covered by the seam part of the handle.
And voila, one more well-loved and used Actifry pan ready to be pressed back into service.

I am not able to purchase the Tefal Actifry 2in1 in Singapore. When will this product be available in Singapore?
Hot Air Frying
Hi Rosie, try asking them on their Facebook page. They seem to pay attention to it. The TeFal page for Singapore is here: https://www.facebook.com/TefalSingapore

I love my Actifry and use it 2-3 times every week. My only complaint is that the plastic becomes brittle and breaks. I have replaced my paddle twice, the lid, the mesh grate inside the Actifry and
now my handle has broken. It would be great If this problem could be sorted. After replacing these parts it has been the same as purchasing a new Actifry.

I can see a common issue throughout all these comments, the fact that the manufacture of the various components are not robust enough & the fact that parts are fracturing & becoming brittle due to heat bears out this assumption! I was fortunate enough to buy a 3 year extended warranty at point of purchase for my 1st Actifry model. After 2 years parts started to break, ie the paddle & spill ring, took it back & was given a brand new one but could not renew the extended warranty? So after another 2 year spill ring broke, paddle, lid fell off & broke & handle fell off while lifting full tray of chips across kitchen area, hence chips all over floor! Seems the design has built in life expectancy? Spares business a positive thriving industry me thinks! Just build in more robust quality & I may buy another in the future.

I have just purchased a new handle for my actifry 2 in 1 but it came without screws!
