Make these using frozen Asian-style dumplings you buy in a packet from the store. The air fryer cooks them beautifully while you tend to something else, such as the noodle, rice or veg.
Serve hot, ideally with a sauce such as dumpling sauce or plum sauce or even just soy sauce.

Ingredients
- 8 Frozen Asian-style dumplings
- 1 teaspoon oil
Instructions
For paddle-type air fryers
- Heat oil in machine for 2 minutes.
- Put still-frozen dumplings into machine (do not thaw).
- Cook 11 minutes.
For basket-type air fryers
- Put dumplings in bowl with oil; toss.
- Put still-frozen dumplings into machine (do not thaw).
- Cook 11 minutes at 160 C / 320 F. Shake basket half-way through.
Notes
Best done in small batches to ensure they cook evenly and don't stick. If you need to make a lot, cook in small batches, and then reheat. Serve cooked dumplings within 2 hours, or refrigerate.
